Frequently Asked Questions
-
It's simple. Click Book a Free Consultation, choose a time that works for you, and we'll discuss your goals and create a plan tailored to your success. Whether you're just beginning your preparation or need help getting back on track, I'm here to help.description
-
During our consultation, we'll discuss your current preparation, practice scores, strengths, challenges, and exam timeline. I'll answer your questions, explain how tutoring works, and recommend a study plan—there's no obligation to continue afterward.
-
Simple, we update and change it until it works. Almost every single student that I have tutored for the past 8 years have had their study schedule changed at some point during their studying. What worked 3 or 4 months before your exam will probably not be the best approach a few weeks out before your exam. We will update it as you study and especially as you get closer to your exam date.

All sessions (consultations and tutoring) are conducted on Zoom. The sessions are geared towards being interactive and more of a conversation between us rather than just me talking. Obviously, I will do most of the talking, but you are encouraged to take part in the discussion and ask questions. During the session, you are recommended to take screenshots of any notes I write/draw.

Unlike large tutoring companies, you'll work directly with me for every session. I focus on helping you understand how to think through USMLE questions, not just memorize facts. My approach combines content review, question strategy, accountability, and personalized coaching to help you study more efficiently.
-
Through daily check-ins. While, I cannot force you to follow the study plan, having you checking in with me everyday is more likely for you to stick to it and study consistently. The students that check in with me every day, even on weekends and holidays, are the ones more likely to pass and score highly.
-
The daily check-ins will include block scores or what you studied or reviewed. This will primarily happen over text messaging. Additionally, this is also your chance to ask me questions in between sessions.
-
I primarily teach using the same high-yield resources most students already use, including UWorld, NBMEs, and First Aid. Rather than asking you to buy unnecessary materials, I help you maximize the value of the resources you already have.
-
Absolutely. Many students come to me after struggling with previous attempts. Together, we'll identify what went wrong, develop a new strategy, strengthen weak areas, and build the confidence needed for your next exam.
-
I work with a wide range of students, including U.S. MD and DO students, international medical graduates (IMGs), first-time test takers, and students preparing for a retake. Every student receives a personalized study plan based on their current performance, timeline, and learning style.

As often as you like. Some students want to meet with me every day and some students meet with me once every 2 weeks. My availability is listed on my site and you can schedule a session at your convenience. I never pressure a student to sign up for more sessions, so this something you control.
-
Depending on how many sessions we do, you either will pay at the end of each week (if we meet multiple times per week) or after the session is over (if we meet once a week or less). I will send a payment tracker that will show how many hours we have completed and the amount due.
As for how to pay, I accept most online payment methods. If you’re not in the US, we can figure something out. Don’t let this be an obstacle to me helping you.

This is something we will discuss in the consultation session. It will depend on how many times we meet and how often. But, my prices are more affordable than other tutoring services.
